Afternoon club`s
The Kuopio Settlement Puijola organizes club activities at five primary schools in Kuopio, with a total of six clubs at these schools. The clubs are located at Snellman, Jynkkä, Kalevala, Rajala, and Kettulan schools.
Kuopio housing counseling
Housing counseling provides outreach housing advisory services, aiming to secure the continuation of housing and to prevent and reduce the crisis in housing situations.
Education and employment
Puijola’s international meeting place, Kompassi, offers job coaching for people with immigrant backgrounds, as well as various courses and trainings. You can read more about them from the link below.

Immigrant advisory aervices
At Kompassi’s immigrant advisory service, you can receive personal advice on matters important to you. We serve all those who have moved to Finland from abroad. The service is free of charge.
Support for individuals with criminal backgrounds
Support Center Mahku assists individuals with a criminal background and their relatives. Mahku is a comfortable, low-threshold support center that is easy to access. Our operations are based on trust, respect, and equal interaction.
Youth work
Kuninkaankatu is a place intended for young people aged 12-29, where everyone has the opportunity to be seen and heard. There is a lot happening with us. The youth themselves participate in planning and implementing activities. All our activities are professionally guided.
Violence prevention work

Sexual health work

Support for women and girls with immigrant backgrounds
At the Girls’ House, weekly group activities are organized for girls and women with immigrant backgrounds. You can arrange a meeting with a worker if you want to discuss family life, women’s issues, or even difficult experiences. An interpreter can be arranged for the meetings. All conversations are confidential.

In Juju Dance, dance is much more than movement. It’s an art form and an expression of strong emotions. In Juju, you experience and create moments, together with us.
